Abu Dhabi - Archicad BIM Architect
An architectural Studio in Abu dhabi is looking for an Archicad BIM architect
Role:
Participate in refining the BIM Office Template.
Participate in meetings with Clients.
Prepare Architectural / Interior Design Concept Design proposals.
Prepare Architectural / Interior Design Preliminary Design packages.
Prepare Architectural / Interior Design Detailed Design packages.
Coordinate with Structural and MEP engineers.
Coordinate with third Party specialists.
Participate in material selection and tender document preparation.
Participate in liaison with relevant Authorities to obtain Building Permit.
Assist during Contractor’s tender evaluation process.
Review of Architectural shop drawings.
Participate in regular Site Inspection during the execution of the Works.
Skills:
Experience
Required: 5 to 10 years experience in consultancy firm in the UAE.
Preferred: Site supervision experience.
Design Skills
Contemporary Architectural Design skills.
Flexible approach to different architectural styles to meet Client’s requirements.
Experience in algorithmic design is preferred.
Work Ethics & Qualities :
Highly efficient, goal driven, solution oriented with a high attention to details.
Highly autonomous, capable of leading a small / medium size project.
Advanced knowledge and understanding of various systems to be implemented in
projects and excellent capability to coordinate with the various trades.
Advanced knowledge and understanding of the constructibility of a project.
Excellent knowledge of the latest guidelines, codes & standards applicable in the UAE.
Excellent knowledge in the design trends, materials and system to be used in project.
Excellent knowledge of the construction market in the UAE / GCC.
Softwares :
Archicad 24 : Expert in BIM modeling and proficient in BIM management strategy.
Twin Motion : Expert in using Twin Motion rendering capabilities with Archicad integration.
Rhino / Grasshopper : Good knowledge of the Rhino / Grasshopper environment and workflow in integration with Archicad.
Autocad : Good knowledge of the Autodesk environment for occasional usage.
Ms Office : Expert in using Ms Office Suite for report / presentation preparation.
